Milestones

The roots of the Accounting Program go back to 2006, when it was first opened under the Bakrie School of Management, before becoming one of the pillars of Bakrie University.
The Accounting Program was part of the formal transformation of Bakrie School of Management into Bakrie University, marked by ministerial decree.
When Bakrie University officially opened on September 20, 2010, Accounting was among its five pioneering undergraduate programs, launched alongside Management, Communication Science, Informatics, and Information Systems.
The program introduced MOAL, a unique Accounting Process Simulation in Indonesia. Students experience running a “mini company,” gaining hands-on skills by practicing real corporate systems.
Before LAMEMBA was established, the Accounting Program had already been recognized with an “A” accreditation from BAN-PT, highlighting the strength of its curriculum and graduate outcomes.
Bakrie University opened additional learning spaces on the 40th and 41st floors of Bakrie Tower. These new classrooms and student areas serve all programs, including Accounting.
The Accounting Program was officially accredited “Excellent” for a five-year period, based on decree SK 066/DE/A.5/AR.10/XII/2022.
Bakrie University earned an “Excellent” institutional accreditation from BAN-PT. This achievement further strengthens the overall quality of all study programs, including Accounting.
